For sale is a modern Aurora 88 piston filler with gold plated trim and cap in the streaked pattern. The pen is in excellent condition and the black resin barrel has wet-like gloss to it. The nib is a XF, solid 14Kt gold, and has just enough flex to give a little line variation thats sure to let others know you dont write with a ballpoint. The 88 is about the same size as a Mont Blanc 146 (see my comparison here<http://www.dannzeman.com/2010/01/20/comparing-the-aurora-88-and-mont-blancs-146/>). The 88 has an ink reserve to keep you going when you initially run out of ink. To access the reserve just cycle the piston to the bottom its stroke.
