Junior (also called Sacless Duofold) and Sub Deb (Lady Sacless) were the only 1940's pocket pens catalogued in black. And, 1940 pens were done in Shadow-Wave, subsequent pens in typical striped transparency. Clean examples with good clarity are not simple to find. 

Perhaps most neat are the rarely seen blue-diamond black Duofold desk pens.

Then you need the pen fairy to grant you a sumgai! There's also a 4 
3/4" pen (equivalent to the sub-deb) with 2 cap bands in black. 
Better yet, the first year pens, 1940, are black shadow wave plastic.
