Let's say you are subscribed here and want to unsubscribe. How to do it? (No,
I'm not encouraging you to unsubscribe).

1. Well, you could go to the web site. Yes, zoss.com will take you there and the
"Fountain Pens" link will answer all of your questions. ALL of your questions.
The monthly reminders to go visit there should ring a bell, yes?

2. Every single message that goes out to the list - regular or digest - has full
instructions embedded in the message header. Most of you probably have that
turned off but it's there if you look. Here's a part of the header for the
recent message I sent to the list about Rockne:

List-Post: <mailto:pens@...>
List-Help: <mailto:pens-help@...>
List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:pens-unsubscribe@...>
List-Subscribe: <mailto:pens-subscribe@...>

This list is a double opt-in list. To be receiving messages you have to have
subscribed, then confirmed your request. The process makes sure you get the
information you need to manage the list (if you bothered to keep it).

So, getting help to add a sub, change it, or unsub is just not all that hard.

You can always write to me and I'll do it for you.

Most people who try to unsubscribe and have trouble are using HTML and the
software just can't parse the whole huge message filled with garbage text, for
which I apologize. Plain text is always better here.

Keep smiling. Be nice.

Tom
