Waterman 54 ID "symbol" on end I bought a black BCHR Waterman 54 pen on ebay ,that was described as "Flexible Medium Italic.",The vendor thought the symbol on the end of the ,cap, above the 54 indicated "italic.",The symbol is an "L" but upside down (like a ,hangman's stand).,The pen arrived and is attractive and has a ,pleasantly flexible nib. However it is not italic, ,nor cursive italic. I would also describe it as ,closer to fine than medium., So, what does the "L" symbol mean?, There is also a groove near the cap lip that ,does not have a metal trim although the barrel has ,a beautiful jeweler's band. Is the trim on the cap ,missing? Is this the correct cap for this pen, as ,the clip is marked "cap clip" ad does not have any ,Waterman insignia., Did I pay a fair price @$100 or was I ,deluded/delusional?,Item # 130438500097 on completed sales/ebay., Is there a Waterman guru who can help me ,properly identify this pen (and its date)?
